Thanks to congress slashing SNAP benefits prematurely, we're going to need to put money that would have gone toward medicine and supplies toward groceries instead.
Having to choose between medicine and food again is terrifying.

we've been looking at stuff @ca_dmv_bot posts and honestly surprised the california DMV recognised 14 and 88 as nazi symbols as far back as 2015. it seems like that didn't come into the spotlight until more recently than that.
some of their other rules appear to be kind of strange though. why do they not allow area codes on license plates?
we've also a bit surprised that the numbers 13 and 50 seem to be mentioned a lot too. apparently 13 is a gang reference and 50 is a police reference, which aren't allowed?
