I found it! It's called Larklight, by Philip Reeve, and it's the first of a three-book series

thought: you can make pesto with herbs other than basil

people seem to think that the wild arms series jumped the shark after the third entry and honestly I'm not seeing it, I do think wild arms 3 is better than 4, but 4 is better than 1 and 2 still

still, this game hits like a sledgehammer to the emotions

it's amazing to me that, through liberal use of glitches, people have figured out how to 100% a game about jumping while only pressing the jump button 22 times in the entire game

and they can non-100% beat the game only pressing the jump button once

mrrf, I felt a need to apologize for something that happened the other day and sent a dm and it's just been ignored so far and now I'm wondering if the person has me blocked or muted or whatever because I don't know, I don't know how to deal with people

turns out the transistors we already ordered are in a very unfortunate SOT-418FL package instead of SOT-23 like we'd thought. That means they're going to be basically unusable for what we wanted to use them for because we are not soldering that by hand, it's like half the size of a SOT-23

this means they can measure resistances up to 10 PΩ which is also _utterly ridiculous_

Apparently Keysight's B2980A series meters have a resolution of 0.01 fA which is _utterly ridiculous_

well I just went to class an hour late because I forgot when class was, how is your morning going?
