Out of curiosity:

What do you call the right analog stick on the wii u and switch?

nsfw, but only nsfw in the context of it being nsfw, perfectly sfw otherwise

I've done a VGM selection on it before but I just want to point out this piece (In the Final, by Yoko Shimomura, from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story)

This is far more momentous a piece than you would ever expect to see in a mario game, really

pokemon ranger was a fun series, shame you can't play it without ruining your DS screen

I'm playing smash ultimate to pass the time until bloodstained comes out and these challenges are intimidating

does anyone have tips for how to complete some of them? (of course I have specific questions but want to know who to talk to first)

whenever someone says "don't @ me" I read it as "don't (main verb phrase missing) at me"

don't what at you, don't look at you, don't yell at you, don't throw vegetables at you?

watching cpu-vs-cpu matches in smash ultimate really shows the holes in the AI

how many games out there, I wonder, have soundtracks more than 24 hours long?

this thought brought to you by realizing the currently unlocked music on our save file of smash ultimate is 25:23:16 in total length, and we don't have everything unlocked yet even

The way additional parts appear on the second loop is particularly interesting to me. I especially enjoy how hits from the brass section are used almost as percussion during this part. The contrast between the very low string section and the very high piccolo melody provides an interesting sound as well.

This is one of those pieces that reaches the limits of my knowledge of music theory and ability to explain it, I think. Just go listen to it!
