the poll has ended and out of eight responses it looks like we were in fact the only ones who pronounce it /ɪifə/
slight venty
there's a person in a discord group that I really like being in, and they're a nice person too, but they continually manage to choose icons that are just really off-putting and feel _wrong_, a new one every two weeks or so, and I don't know how to bring it up to them that it's a problem

PSA from a non-english language first person on changing or replacing language for political reasons
Please do not only warn me of what language not to use, please give me suggestions on what to use instead. If I use an ableist term for example like stupid I do so because the meaning of the word translates most closely to something I want to express in my own language. It's hard enough learning new english words and acronyms and how to use them, to replace ones that are staples in translation is even harder. So please tell me what to say, preferably with example sentences. That would really help. And use your own words wisely, cause when I'm around I pick up on your language and how you use it to help me translate better.
another good word: facetious, because it contains all five "main" vowel letters of the english language, in order, exactly once each
Plural system of three, Felthry, Alaric and Rosemary. We'll sign posts with a -F, -A, or -R.
