There's... a little temptation to ask about having @connie's Numl be her partner but I think probably best not to for a (semi-)permanent canon that covers several of my recurring characters ^^;

what is it with the legend of zelda series and having really good entries that get really poor reception in one way or another on release

wind waker, people hated the cartoonish look but now it's seen as one of the best in the series

majora's mask is a classic and arguably the best in the whole series but we've heard people hated how weird and different it was when it came out

breath of the wild, people loved to hate its music when it came out but it's great music

well, we took care of that last problem at least. Got some orange juice.

we were at the store earlier and didn't get any because they were out of the pineapple-orange that we like

but then we really wanted it so we went and got orange juice *and* pineapple juice so we can mix them

we're also really stressed right now because of an interview tomorrow morning and because of really wanting orange juice but not having any, which is a really trivial problem but when you get stressed every problem gets amplified

apparently, while Rosemary switches in to help me deal with stress, I also switch in to be stressed when something happens like that >.<

And we're not really upset at the person who did this either, we just.. don't know how to bring it up to them. We should, but we don't know how, and are scared of being attacked for bringing it up even though I don't think that would happen?

I think it would be much better if someone were to word it more gently, as "you've derailed the conversation; can we get back to X topic" but instead we got something along the lines of "you weren't involved in this conversation, please don't jump in just to derail it", and I'm not sure how to even respond to that.

We want to be called out when we do something wrong.
But I wish people would be more gentle when we do something without realizing it.
It hurts to have someone imply that I did something wrong on purpose, when it was our usual difficulty with reading social situations, not an intentional attempt to derail a conversation.

to clarify, when I say queer spaces that heavily focus consent i mean the specific spaces we've ended up in, not queer spaces in general. we know that there are still consent problems.

I wonder if a person with multiple hearts (say a taur with one in each torso maybe) could have a heart attack in one and just not notice it at all... huh.

i feel like we're really, really lucky in that we never actually were victims of anything major that was nonconsensual before we ended up in queer spaces that heavily focus consent into pretty much everything of that sort
