it's kind of fascinating that we know that almost all numbers are normal (i.e. the set of non-normal numbers is measure zero) and yet we've only ever found like less than a dozen examples of normal numbers

we have tons of numbers we think are probably normal, but no one has figured out how to prove that yet

Please favorite this toot if what I have been doing has brought an amount of value to you, be it for informational reasons, a relatively safe news feed, original analysis, propaganda/morale, proportionate to the effort I put in.

I want to see how many people it is.

I'm going to go shower.

metroid prime would be such a good VR game i suspect...

pity nintendo's never going to allow it for any system with good VR

aaaa looking into moving across the country is a Lot

(for non-USians who might not realize, across the country here means a 36 hour drive that will probably be split over three or four days)

You hear about spaghetti code, but is there ever ravioli code? What about rotini code, or penne code? Linguini code?

another game we had on that PDA was another AI-manipulation puzzle where you tried to move your boat around to get the enemy pirate ships (which again followed predictable AI patterns) to collide with and destroy each other, or get them to shoot each other, or collide with islands

would like to find that one again too i think

trying to find an old game we played with once.... i think it was on a palm PDA (remember those?)

you played Totally Not Indiana Jones and were trying to escape some mummies in a pyramid

for every step you took, the opponents took two, always on predictable rules towards you

the whole game was puzzles about abusing the simple AI to get past them

Anyone know what this is, or where we might find it again?
