okay, there's a minigame in tales of berseria that is literally just hanafuda with Tales characters on the cards

Apparently deviled eggs are called that because they use mustard and paprika which are very mildly spicy, thus earning them the "devil" moniker by the standards of the people who made them, much like how taco bell's spiciest hot sauce is called "diablo"

were the people who named deviled eggs just *that* unused to spicy food, or were they way spicier in the past than they are today

i guess it's a pretty safe assumption that anyone who follows kosher or halal (is "follows" the right word there?) isn't going to order something with "bacon" in its name, but still

we have *literally* never heard anyone make a noise anything like that to call a cat, it's always a series of dental or alveolar clicks

Applebee's menu has a symbol next to every item that contains pork now, which is good if you follow kosher or halal

conspicuously, that symbol is not next to the bacon cheeseburgers

we've started playing tales of berseria and overall, impression of the main characters:

Velvet: Needs to lighten up a bit but it's understandable considering she was traumatized and abused for years

Laphicet: sweet child who needs to be protected

Rokurou: Seems like a nice person. A little too big a fan of fighting and drink though

Eizen: The one who knows what he's doing of the group

Magilou: fuck magilou. huge jerk, plays mean "jokes" on people, would probably be abusive if given any power over anyone. why is she here. go away.
