@Yuhllevan@witches.town Only thing I can think of as an explanation beyond what I said before is a tribal "us vs them mentality" - everyone who's not "normal" is the enemy tribe. Primitive, outdated way of thinking that still persists in certain groups because... I don't even fucking know.

@Yuhllevan@witches.town Serious answer: It's much harder for some people to cope with adjusting their worldview than you'd think. So they'd rather just demonize these thing as 'weird' and 'unnatural'.

So basically: "The world is more complex than I thought and I can't deal with it so I'm going to throw a tantrum"
