@lycaon@witches.town she was told like multiple different wages leading up to this too, for extra BS. job was advertised as $15/hr, told in the interview $9.25/hr, forms say $7.25/hr, and now they're suspecting that since there's wages she's legally being paid at a much much smaller wage too. She's gonna go talk to her manager for an explanation but she'll probably end up quitting since the job is just costing her money atm
My friend just got her first paycheck and its wildly smaller than it should be? $84 instead of an expected $340-$440. Its not even close to minimum wage??? She needs a lot more money just to afford rent and nothing else so help would be very much appreciated.
