Please do not forget that there was a Black lead instance on here for 3 yrs that decided to leave (with many friends, ily) bc they were consistently harassed and stalked for saying the kinds of things about racism/colorism/antiblackness/intersectionality that provoked self reflexion and they didn't like that.

The point I want to make is that you haven't upset them...yet.

my friend in another space wrote abt the tactics that ppl use in SM spaces to get rid of Blk women in particular off the platforms they actively create (and that others then benefit)

So I've been reading about barn owls for a thing I'm writing, and they're fascinating!

Barn owls are adapted to be perfectly silent. With the structure of their feathers to their wing-to-body size ratio, they can fly perfectly silently. They also have such good hearing that they can catch prey in total darkness when they can barely see.

Also, barn owls don't hoot. Instead, they make this terrifying screeching sound.
