I think individual agency and autonomy are sacred.

I can't have a child with someone that thinks they just happen. That you get married and have a kid. That isn't willing to try meaningfully and doesn't seem into it with their everything.

In general I think what's driving it is a distaste for GitHub as a centralization of an underlying decentralized system, and that's probably the bigger thing to worry about.
