fun fact: art doesn't need incentives to be created. art is a cultural process that has existed long before capitalism. if we want to support artists, we need to find ways to allow them to live with dignity while they practise their craft

You know, even I didn't think I was enby before Val figured it out for me. Which is a little embarrassing since Val had always talked about how otherkin stuff can also get tangled up with gender.
Well...I am at least partially a kitsune, and a good portion of that got tied up with gender, and that is on top of being at least almost entirely girl, so...yeah, we forgot to look at the otherkin axis. -Julayla

@Gumby One of the worst things anyone can do to a neurodivergent person is not give them space to breathe. Not being given any time to process and formulate a response, or the space for you to cope in your own ways is extremely distressing and overwhelming.

Castell Henllys (Old Court Castle? I think) is a reconstructed Iron Age hill fort, complete with the typical roundhouses and wooden fence. Knowledgable guides and live reenactment of the typical aspects of life at around perhaps 400BC in Cymru allow the visitors to experience something so unique that I vividly remember my time there, perhaps 10 years ago now.
It's possible to try basket weaving, grinding corn with a pestle and mortar and with a hand powered grindstone, you can make simple bread on the fire, be daubed with woad (blue-coloured warpaint), dress up in the rough clothes of the time, and explore the hilltop fort in and out of the roundhouses.
On the way in, you walk around a labyrinth with an entrance and an exit, as the guide explains you are turning back time, until you leave the spiral thousands of years in the past.
