I don't. If I need to mention something fediblock adjacent, I write the word but I just don't tag it.

Because otherwise you flood the tag with posts that don't function the way the tag needs to and ppl got sift thru stuff for actual useful info.

Hello dear people who read me! My home instance will defederate from mastodon.social and mastodon.online in two days from now. The instances are known to be too big, not well enough moderated and thus unsafe.

If you want to follow accounts on safer instances like weirder.earth, you might want to consider moving. I'd advise to ask around for smaller instances, as weirder.earth is neither the first nor will it be the last instance to take this step.

You can still follow my art account at @TQ@mastodon.art from m.s and m.o, although both instances are already silenced by .art.
