Protestors on the ground report the use of a green gas (strongly suspected to be Adamsite or diphenylaminechlorarsine, an arsenic compound) added to the tear gas. In addition to irritation of the mucous membranes, Adamsite causes nausea and persistent vomiting.

I am so tired of white people colonizing queer, trans and POC spaces, and then pushing away the most vulnerable by forcing their white-ass standards of behaviour (which makes no room for neurodivergence) on everyone they meet.

And of course, people listen to -THEM- and make excuses for behaviour they do when they harm the community they claim to speak for. But the moment a queer, PoC and/or trans person speaks up in a manner that isn't "polite and proper" they get ostracized and demonized.

It must be nice being so goddamn privileged that you can make a living out of simply claiming to speak for marginalized people. Meanwhile, PoC creators, saying and doing the exact same thing, languish as everyone turns their content down in order to watch a white guy say the exact same things.

When are white people gonna understand that you can't fight demagogy with more demagogy? Fuck breadtube, and fuck fake-ass white "allies"

okay so let me get this straight

1. BLMSKC v Seattle => temporary injunction against SPD indiscriminately using tear gas, blast balls, etc on june 12, turned into a preliminary injunction on june 17, expiring september 30 (judge jones)

2. city council passes legislation banning the use of crowd control weapons

3. US DoJ files for an injunction against the legislation claiming that it violates the consent decree; injunction denied

4. US DoJ files for an injunction against *SPD implementing policy based on legislation*, claiming the same, temporary injunction approved (judge robart)

5. SPD cites temporary injunction and uses blast balls and pepper spray indiscriminately against protesters, july 25

6. all the while, SPD is still under the preliminary injunction in the BLMSKC v Seattle case; on sunday night plantiff's lawyers file *24* declarations of individuals who were at the protests

7. SPD COULD HAVE JUST NOT USED CROWD CONTROL WEAPONS BUT DID ANYWAY

Not having a good time, between my bio dad revealing himself to being a Duterte bootlicker, and watching an 18 year old trans girl from Portland get kidnapped by state-hired fascist thugs over alleged grafitti, I am just on the verge of tears and constantly wanting to tear the next cop apologist apart with my bare heands, and show them just how fucking black heart is before I crush it in front of their eyes in their last moments..

I should take a break, I am exhausted. Julayla, maybe you should take over for a few days while I recharge, or maybe switch between yourself and iselyn. -Valerie

a good heuristic is to always assume that you're being logged, because you almost always are.

it takes active effort and care to post in a deniable manner, but for stuff like leaking prototypes and trade secrets it's absolutely worth doing!

paranoia is your friend in this case, since someone will notice and try to hunt you down if you leak things.
