My natural empathy response and my Adult Professional Mask keep colliding and I'm not actually sure what comes out.
It's like "yes, let's stay on this subject but in a small talk way"

I don't really like words when people say something heavy. Empathy is hard, sympathy is easy. I'm a hand squeezer, usually.
Especially at things where there's nothing to say. I, personally, hate "thank you for sharing this with me."

Adult Professional is kinda bitchy and cold.

Remember to treat the successful artist who thinks NFTs will make them rich differently from the marginalized artist who hopes that NFTs will finally get them out of an abusive situation.

So-called professionals: "help! We're being attacked by their aggressive identity politics!!"

Everything I find that claims to look "critically" at neurodiversity (all written by NTs of course) sounds like this:

"While it is understandable that some self-advocates feel offended by the pro-cure rhetoric of some parent and professional organizational, the latter are also justified in criticizing the aggressive identity politics advanced by the radical activists of the autistic movement, who appropriate the right to speak in the name of every person diagnosed with autism"
