Amongst the news about the medical director for THT potentially playing a part in the scrapping of the planned GRA reforms there has also been a teeny bit of good news today

NI High Court found that the requirement to provide a gender dysphoria diagnosis under the GRA is unlawful and contravenes the ECHR and so there need to be a review of this requirement.
However, the same court also ruled that the provision of medical reports is "proportionate" to the aims of the GRA.

Realistically, I don't think this would actually change anything significantly without having to throw ourselves at ANOTHER mass movement for reform - since we'd likely still be beholden to the GIC system in the provision of those reports, so it would just amount to one less piece of paper.

But that said, it's a tiny step in the right direction. We're not being consistently thrown out, and there is hope of change through small baby steps and challenges like this.
