I mean that seriously--not having kids is a totally valid life choice, and anyone who pressures anyone else (including their partner) to have kids is someone who deserves to be ignored as the useless busybody they are.

Having a kid and then resenting them for failing to meet your ideal is NOT valid. It is unfair to the child who literally never asked to be born, and it is a dereliction of a parent's duty to love their child unconditionally, and to make them feel safe & welcome at all times.

TL;DR: some bills are already late. It is my birthday month and there is nothing that I'd like than having my expenses covered

Some of my bills are already late. The credit card bill is on the 7th and I do really need to pay it as soon as I can to buy my cats food and litter since we're already out of litter and food is running out.

Also... my birthday is this month. I honestly would like nothing else than being free of my father but... I ran the numbers it is just too much money. Maybe if I can have my expenses covered I'll try and make it a goal.

"common sense" is *obviously* a matter of feelings. it's instinctive. and we're talking about people who have to translate their perception of the world through a lens where your instinctive gut reaction is the only truth and everything else you believe is an extrapolation of what you need to believe in order for you to be right.

i get really bothered when transphobia pretends it's not coming from "you are gross"

"facts don't care about your feelings" keeps sticking with me as a catchphrase for bigotry. i dunno if it's relevant anymore, but there's just been something about that phrase in particular that really epitomizes a worldview.

generally i chalk it up to a comical projection. "jesus these are invariably coming from someone overcompensating"

I've said before and I'll say it again, transphobia is inextricably linked to antisemitism, and transphobes are inextricably tied to the ideologies that informed the German NAZI party from WWII, their progeny in American Conservatism, and European Fascism.

You should not fail to talk about the other when talking one of those subjects. Transphobia has always been, and will always be linked to anti-semitism. If you claim to be a trans ally, yet think that it's okay to ignore or make light of anti-semitism, then I do not want you as an ally. Do better or fuck off.
