Perniciously, if you bluescreen a VMWare virtual machine enough times / just in the right way, reverting to a snapshot will no longer help you because the base image is corrupted.
This is infuriating and happens to me about once per 6 months of intense kernel dev, and has happened for the past decade on all versions.
tldr; if your snapshot suddenly doesn't act the way it did the las 1000 times you reverted to it, just rebuild the whole VM from scratch or fall into the pit of insanity.
I am experiencing extreme frustration at this moment.

Once you really feel the reality that the anxiety is what gets you killed you feel it start and you breathe it out and you chill and it makes the person trying to kill you go kind of insane.
The best thing I learned from jiu jitsu was how to not freak out. You pretty much have to just live through panic attacks and anxiety until you realize that’s what kills you and just let it go.

I probably have some kind of very minor neuroatypicality that makes me a) dislike a lot of people, b) answer questions literally, and c) be /very/ bad at "obvious" video game cues

Also I'm kind of dense when it comes to like video games sometimes and I will wander around missing something "obvious" and get frustrated or like totally not get how to beat a weird boss with a gimmick, so knowing how to do the thing I'm SUPPOSED to know how to do before hand saves a lot of angst.
