I’m proud to be friends with gentle cis-het asexual men that paint their nails, gay bears that laugh like Santa Claus, butch lesbians that brew a killer coffee, and trans men teaching me how to lift.

@typhlosion @Felthry re this entire thread, having been there in the 90s in my formative years and despite it being a full on utter dysphoria depression feat I have the same feelings about the optimism, especially around the tech.
There was so much heterogeneity. People tried anything. Lots of it was really neat and had a lot of personality compared to today.
@Ulfra_Wolfe none of this is true. I’ve been in literally thousands of rear naked chokes. I have put on a rear naked choke thousands of times. A blood choke is 100% safe.
If you’d like to stop a fight a rear naked choke is the safest way for no one to get hurt.
