because i read with my own two eyes an op-ed saying that the first couple waves of mastodon users were people who "couldn't handle opposing viewpoints" let me break it down for those who haven't figured it out yet:
it's not that we can't handle opposing viewpoints, it's that all of y'all keep treating being an asshole like some sort of ironic coolguy thing to do and we all find you insufferable and none of us can stand being around you

Introvert freak out
Work is hard enough right now. I don't have the energy to also be crushed socially on my "day off". When can I go home? Help.
I don't want to be in the same house as my father in law. He was a fucker from the second I met him and Last time I saw him he said he was going to shoot my BLM signs.
I hate social obligations. I am out of energy. I am hoping for a fire.
There used to be an out of the way couch I could retreat to but now they rearranged the furnature and there's like no where to sit that isn't like in he conversation area so I guess outside in the car it is :/
