I'm thinking of setting up a weekly(?) board game night, and despite there being tons of tools to do the thing, I have no idea which way to do so.

Do people prefer Telegram groups for this kind of thing? Discord servers? Open-ended invitations via Masto or other social media? Trello? Google Calendar? Messages transmitted in rot13-encrypted Morse code from a number station?

I am not sure how to do the thing, but I'm picking at setting something up on TTS and our Copious Gaming Table™ here at home, should locals (and friends of locals) be interested.

@Soreth I think this is because we’re seeing an RTA route instead of a race?

The fact they used it on Draygon is kind of a tell — usually folks X-factor and shine spark in a race setting, but single RTA lets them gamble on spike suit.

Oh yeah, now that the recipient has opened it, I can finally post this thing instead of progress shots.

This was my secret Santa gift to Mallikeet for a group chat on Telegram. Modeled and posed in a few hours in Sculptris and Blender, then printed out in PLA plastic. I fixed the horns in a subsequent print.

I’ve been thinking of maybe making these into commissions, time permitting.

@kirbizard Yeah! I think it was the first commercial system in the states that did that, and it was an absolute blast.

I used to keep this thing in a fanny pack with just one game — Altered Beast, since they didn’t port that one. Which, coincidentally, is the game still popped into the system.

@edgedestroys@snouts.online @GavinWolf@snouts.online If you can believe it, co-op white robe is even faster, since you can fly indefinitely with good timing.

Someone showed me that and several of the clips and glitch playarounds entirely through pings and semaphore in a publicly matchmade game, and it is part of why Journey is my favorite game ever.
