What can I do? So many things
So if you're thinking "what can I possibly do right now", good news, there are answers:
1) When you earn those dollars, send some of them over to http://abortionfunds.org/ who will get them to the places they need to go.
2) Check in with your local clinic which has, or may no longer support, reproductive services and ask what the heck they need. Type in "local women's health clinic" into Duckduckgo or similar search engine to find it.
3) Tell your congresscritter what's up https://fiscalnote.com/find-your-legislator
4) Most important, meet up with other folks in your area interested in providing services to clinics across the country. It may be hard in your area so check in with your local DSA or Food Not Bombs group and ask who's organizing help in your area.
You have actionable things you can do! It takes time and it's always hard to start new projects, but you can do it!

Hey y'all, I don't have a lot to add today that you won't already read from others. But please be kind to each other today, stay angry at those who did this, and commit to doing what you can in the times to come.
This fight is, was, and will never be over. And these drunk-with-power fuckwits, who think they're insulated from any and all consequence, have not even begun to comprehend the political reckoning that is coming.

They are also a glorious emissive glow disaster in audioreactive worlds. @Veladynee was calling them a rave beast, and since they're currently unnamed, I might opt to keep that.
I also realized in hindsight that I ended up with a weregarurumon color pattern with extra steps, which was completely accidental.

So definitely drop in and feel welcome to chat with folks here. But maybe be aware that Masto won't replace everything that larger social media platforms try to be, because that isn't the goal.
Twitter is still better for making large posts for folks that draw income from them, since that's kind of what it's shaped itself to be. I have no idea if that will persist, but it probably will, and retaining presence there for business isn't a bad idea.
Masto has been described more like a set of quiet coffee shops from a few folks here, and that fits well. You'll generally find more and deeper conversations here, because it's mostly a set of federated forums with social media presentation.
FWIW, I moved from Twitter to Masto in 2018 when an experimental Twitter feature started pushing political notifications directly to my device. It's definitely not the same audience, but it's much easier to have a conversation here.
For folks making the jump, especially artists looking to still have an audience or outlet for your art, be aware that posts do fewer numbers here, but smaller posts are more typically seen, because of the lack of noise and lack of algorithms shaping all the things.
long, on moving to Masto
posted this on Twitter but it's probably useful here too:
I'm not gonna say "join Mastodon" or "don't join Mastodon" but please don't join the two instances run by the main developer (mastodon social and mastodon online), they're hopelessly overrun and as a result of that not well-moderated.
Join a small or medium-sized instance and use the public timelines. They're made up from ppl who people on the instance follow, which is why there's instances built around different topics (but you're usually welcome to post about anything). Hmu if you want a recommendation
You can also create multiple accounts, all the good apps support multi-user (I'm recommending Tusky on Android and Toot! (paid) for iOS), if you for example want an AD or an account for gaming and a personal one I'd highly recommend creating them on different instances

Dragons who are librarians
-Always know of some strange, obscure tome that is exactly the book you need (regardless of whether it's the book you want.)
-Return books late or damaged at your peril, though.
-When you're walking through the immense shelves, and you see something in the dim light ahead hanging down in front of the books. You approach. Suddenly, as you get close, you realize it's a huge, scaly tail. You follow it with your gaze up to the top of the shelf to see a pair of glowing eyes staring back at you.
"You'll want to take a right at the end of this row," the dragon says. "Then go three rows down and turn left." The tail retracts back up into the shadows above the books, and with a sudden, fluid movement, the dragon is gone.
You never actually told the dragon what you were looking for.
-"Oh you don't need a library card." *growling chuckle* "I will remember your scent."
Sometimes SMBC hits so hard that you have to stare at a wall for a few minutes after.
