For those considering LiberaPay, a few things that might affect a decision.
1. It's based in France, so withdrawing money costs $3.51 per transaction plus any additional fees your own bank may charge.
2. It's donations only, no contracts or expectation of goods.
3. It supports both the Euro and the US Dollar
4. It's up to you to figure out taxes.
5. The fees will still be assessed to the customer of 2.9% + .35 which at least suggests THAT part of Patreon is honest. >.<

My favorite DRM scheme was this eBook format (eReader, I think) that just encrypted the books with a password so you could use them on any device and no Internet connection is required, but the password is your credit card number.

@anthracite I don’t even bother trying to format obj-C by hand, especially when www.fuckingblocksyntax.com is involved. I just write whatever and tell clang-format to fix it.
So far I haven’t convinced my one teammate on this project that the Builder pattern is probably a better choice than an initializer named initWithProductID:userInitiated:engineState:completedUpdates:failedUpdates:userTicket:systemTicket:metricsIDs:errors: or thereabouts.

Serious, sincere request for advice: what are some useful resources for helping a person with weak or missing social instincts learn to present oneself as agreeable? I’m over-agreeable to the point of habitually cowering at everything, so it’s hard for me to figure out what in my own behavior is actually successful here.

I am reducing my social media habits dramatically because I have identified they’ve been hurting me, and I have discovered that I have basically forgotten how or where to just kinda chill out with people online at all. that is kind of a shocking amount of damage. Depression doesn’t help but it’s obviously a feedback loop
