Late Night Introspecting
I have to wait for my pants (ugh, why do I still have to wear pants) to get out of the dryer, so....thoughts.
Something that I have needed to be told pretty consistently of late: "we want you around. Your presence is valued." I'm not sure why this never seems to sink in for me right now. Is it because I am having to learn how to do something I am historically bad at (asking for my needs)?

My feet ache today, but it's a good nice ache that says "hey you did a thing with friends and it was really good."
Still, I feel pretty good. Snuggling with @adeptomega and @literorrery was really lovely last night too. <3
Tonight has been really pretty good. Got a good hour or two's worth of writing; 1500 words into part 1 of the commission. It feels really good to put paws to keyboard like this and actually produce something for the first time in over a year.
I mean, I've written stuff before, but it's been work related and ugh is that boring. This is me getting to be lewd for money and it's pretty great! <3

Woo / Vision
On Sunday I had the opportunity to watch a ritual offering made by @literorrery while cuddling with @adeptomega. While I was watching it, holding her as she rested against my back I had a most vivid vision of Ko as a full-tree, Adept under her branches staring up at the stars on another world.
It's a reminder, I think, that my purpose in life is to provide shade and space, safety and refuge from the concerns of this world.
Getting Organized
One of my recent tactics for getting organized is basically to take 10 minutes before the shop opens on Monday. I take a sheet of paper, make a 2x2 grid on it. I label 1 axis of the grid for Priority (Low/High) and one for Urgency (again, Low/High). I then place out the things I need to get done in any day on that grid. The result helps me prioritize what I should be doing (the High Urgency / High Priority items).
What do you do to stay organized?
There are days I wish it was more socially acceptable to be a boy-ish looking person and still be able to wear skirts at work.
I now have an appreciation for a New York bagel courtesy of previously mentioned coworker. My husband is now jealous (he can't have gluten). :9
One of my coworkers has family in from New York and freaked out and was late on account of cleaning his apartment. They were waiting for him here at work and I'm taking maybe a little perverse enjoyment of watching the interactions >:)
