aaand then I misunderstood Ikea directions and managed to fix a desk I was assembling partly-backwards at the cost of three screws and swearing like a sailor at Ikea's directions and die-cutting.
And then everything my folks and my teachers said about my intelligence when I couldn't understand tasks I was doing unsupervised, came home to roost.
So now I have two pieces of completed furniture and I'm gonna go to Jack in the Box and get breakfasty stuff.
@ziphi thanks! Makes me feel better it’s not me.
@Leucrotta *hugs tight* To be honest, IKEA makes fools of us all.
@Leucrotta Reminds me of assembling the table I use for art stuff. It had one little screw hole that was on one side but not the other, and I didn't notice that the piece was backward until it was mostly done. So I had to take it apart completely and reassemble it.
I swear the people making those instructions are just trying to mess with me sometimes.
