@Charlotte this isn’t someone I’m really close to, which is the whole problem; I know fursona name, legal first name, one frequent RL hangout and approximate location, but not anything really useful like phone number.

The problem with buying frozen food and bringing it as lunch; drawing, food, kvetching.

Turns out if someone you like but can’t easily contact or track down leaves a message about how they ARE killing themselves, doing everything you can to get in touch stacks with other stresses (mostly work, money) and it feels terrible.

@frost If I got stuff out every time I felt bad, I'd eat out at least four days a week, and I'm not that well off.

Anyway now posting two #drawings from last night; a samurai and wu jen take on a treant or similar tree monster, and a goliath fighter and gnome spellcaster face nagas in a bamboo forest. No I don’t know why yesterday turned out all East Asian.

@anthracite filled a batch of small sketch pages with little copies. I figured out that if I sketch rough shapes in pen then block out darks in pencil it helps me track process. I THINK what I wasn’t happy with is, honestly? Especially within forms my darkest areas were too blocky and not angular enough to create interest, and that I’m way too precious with shading faces because I want them to “read.”
