okay I am now finally eating this tarragon chicken with Jerusalem artichokes from the Ottolenghi cookbook

and I'm really enjoying the shallots, the chicken is kinda a nice extra, and tbh Jerusalem artichokes are so much effort for crunch that no, I'm not using 'em again.

I was hiking up a hill and feeling a little beat down around 5:30 when suddenly I thought maybe the drowsiness and low mood might be histamine release from having had two vaccinations yesterday. If that's what's doing this, I really hope another night of sleep will get me back to "normal."
