to be fair I didn't expect much from using up the remaining napa and one of the remaining peppers, but strangely finally eating the egg tarts from Wednesday did not help with the existential anxiety and sadness
somehow, I gotta keep believing that 1) things are actually better than they currently feel (CPTSD and ADHD mean when anything feels bad, it could get worse and also feels like it lasts potentially forever) and 2) there's reason to hope for the future (otherwise observer bias makes a bad situation worse)
this, while under stress and trained to be someone else's convenience, isn't exactly easy to do.

* which also doesn't actually benefit you, because it's already been decided who the good/valued/safe people are
* the only emotional alternative to you're good at this is you suck at this, you're a failure in general
