They were playing the sort of song that shows up halfway through the picture, somewhere between discovering the body and the girl inevitably pulling a gat on the private detective. I lit up for the fifth time in the last half hour.

Attempt to make tripe like I’d get at dim sum! Looks and tastes about right (needs less chili oil and more ginger). I get the feeling it’s a lot more worth the effort to cook in big batches at restaurants.

@arakin I think I've heard of this, that they sped up the games to make them more exciting, which the person who criticized the movie didn't feel was needed.

Oof. I don’t usually get overwhelmed this way but the (teething?) infant having a loud meltdown, the teacher’s loud conversation about science fairs with a colleague, and the climbers at the next table having a loud discussion about equipment (plus clanks), was a bit much for me.

@zetasyanthis maybe. I’m not actively soliciting commissions because work, parents and other stuff leaves me with pretty much no spoons, but I’d like to start doing it again eventually.

@zetasyanthis this is the used bookstore in Cap Hill, which I’ve only started visiting again (the area took on baggage in 2020 and I’ve been getting past that recently). Most local bookstores sadly don’t have cats.

Last night’s #drawings, a green dragon on a fallen tree and a page with a metallic dragon of some sort, dragon heads and a half orc vampire (I figure his walking stick is a warhammer and vice versa, like for nobles in the Kingdom of Poland).

Again, I just can never figure out the right niche for April Fool’s, just absurd enough that people KNOW it’s not true, but just plausible enough to be really absurd. Maybe if I spent all day in the bathroom it’d help.
