okay, so Half Price had nothing but it's near the Safeway that has a better selection of chicken organ meat (more immigrant community maybe?) so I got chicken livers, and pork chops and tilapia on sale. Dredged/fried all the tilapia, put pork in to marinate, am gonna fry livers for gehackte leber later

never knew that Alan Silvestri scored "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and sure enough some parts sound very much like "Predator."

Also I think it’s real convenient timing that just when Trump’s losing a huge legal case, just when his fucking SCOTUS appointments are obviously going to hurt my country even further, he’s endorsing/able to endorse state governors doing their macho tough guy act at the current president. Almost like he’s a narcissistic abuser who knows he needs a big distraction to stay the hero in the narrative, right?

It's so pointless. Most of the time gender doesn't MATTER. What's my gender? Who cares, I'm buying a cup of coffee. I'm doing my day job, checking the mail. The hormones running through my system affect stuff like heart attack symptoms; that's really it. If you're not dating me, why would it matter?

I suppose it's consistent that something which is 1/5 deeply personal identity and 4/5 cynical marketing gimmick would become at some point a cynical marketing gimmick vs deeply personal identity.
