Hm. That dwarf I colored up earlier today, appears lighter on this monitor than on my phone or on my work box (system thing not viewing program).

I kinda feel like our government's current take on immigrants doesn't just appeal to racists, provide free labor and make money for allies (lots of stuff up for bid, and bids aren't likely to be determined fairly in this administration).

The more people come here undocumented, the more wind up being naturalized at some point, and Catholicism probably no longer keeps Latino voters leaning right. My cynicism suggests it's partly trying to keep opposition votes down.

Then I thought as long as I can't sleep, I'll scan art and prep it for later. This *did* help with some of that chunk of technique, and I feel pretty good about moving that much closer to actually really working up stuff more. Though it was still involved enough that I kinda want to walk away for a while and come back and work on those pictures more later.

Went to Blick, mostly got more paper; went to Target, got new boxer shorts and jeans for the first time in a bit. Did a lot of laundry, but also refined/inked drawings. Stepped back from outrage, trying to remind myself that others value and care about me, as my thoughts before bed.
