Okay, it’s that time again. Like or leave a comment and I’ll try to offer a compliment or simply something positive, since we’re all at risk of emotionally spiraling right now.

Marriage did the opposite of mellowing Tom Waits out. His stuff before Kathleen was his producer is at harshest reminiscing about times and girls long gone, afterwards you get stuff where Jesus was off drinking when they found sweet Alice’s body in the dumpster and blamed a homeless person. All I can imagine is he said he wanted to do harder edged stuff over breakfast some morning, and she told him to follow his bliss.

Okay Uriah Heep’s “Fallen Angel” album is the biggest bait and switch I’ve run into today. I’d never listened to Uriah Heep before and it was okay, but the album cover had me hoping for a grim barbarian queen riding her war elk and carving her red legend with her mighty axe or something equally good.

Jethro Tull is making me want to smoke out or play D&D again. Maybe combine these. Several packages of biscuits are all the way at the other side of the inn and your adventurers must go on an epic quest with hundreds of distractions to retrieve them.

What if a lot of what people (okay me) regret aren’t mistakes? Like going to college, moving states or most relationships are so broad in scope that they’re impossible to really classify as good or bad? And even more complex there is a touchy-feely judgment which is actually okay for some big stuff?
