Predictably listening to multiple Garmarna albums is making me want to play D&D, but it’s almost certain my parents will want to go somewhere Saturday and I’ll have to miss game, which is about snooty elves fighting mind flayers and not very Garmarna-esque, anyway.

Maybe they’ll just want to get dim sum, which admittedly is like getting dim sum with midwesterners, but at least that doesn’t eat the whole day.

Oh yeah it’s my favorite Garmarna track, “Doden med Kladdkaka.”

I need to remember that any technical flaws (or positives!) in a drawing are secondary; if I sit down and draw something and it makes me feel better, instead of going with inertia, by definition that's a good drawing.

you can tell I'm only Byelorussian/Russian/Ukranian *descent* rather than actually Russian, because when I draw anthros they have slightly suggested cheekbones rather than incredibly prominent cheekbones.
