So I cut my hair for the first time since August. Then I tried cooking scallops. Haircut feels okay, hopefully won't re-clog the drain. Scallops are pretty good, but probably a little too much cost to really do often.

A bit of Eurocentrism or something I hadn’t thought of, we think of immigrants in steerage crossing the Atlantic (or slave labor jammed into unspeakable conditions). Crossing the Pacific must’ve been less rough but taken longer, and I know getting in was brutal. Maybe some of it’s that my family is so very much New Yorkers and I grew up back east but I hope people on *this* coast get an Asian narrative as well.

#drawing tonight is much rougher and unfinished than usual. A paladin or similar warrior faces a... um... that's trademarked. A Distortion Panther! This is a revision of the drawing I did last night which *didn't* work out, and I'm still not entirely taken with the panther faces though I really like the chest muscles and the adventurer.

I hauled a giant shipment from Long Beach (just requested packing lists they didn’t provide) from FedEx truck, palletized/labeled/partly received it, Sysco showed up and I got the orders for them, got coworker to use forklift. Originally I was going to do it but Sysco driver thought we couldn’t which is cool, I don’t feel good driving the forklift ESPECIALLY for an egg shipment. So I finally received the rest of the Charlie’s Produce stuff and can now listen to Pearl Jam and do more paperwork.
