also out of curiosity I'm now listening to "Nookie" instead of the Niel Cicierega version and honestly it's not really all that good on its own.

this is gonna sound terrible but earlier, looking at this gorgeous selection of stuff at the used bookstore, I realized that I'm actually not interested in 5e. This *might* be about player options, since 5e feels very linear compared to how feats and prestige classes worked in 3e (or how PF2e is driven by feat choice), it might be a production value thing somehow.
