A while back I was thinking about how I should play Heer in Bolt Action because that way, I'd know for sure the German player wasn't a neonazi. Now I think that might be a good idea because it'd avoid any tendency to idealize the Allies overmuch.

... I mean, that assumes that I'd go for WWII if I got back into wargaming at all. Wars of the Roses or Sengoku Japan are *way* more my speed.

Um, you’d figure with the incidence of coffee and olive oil in Mediterranean cuisine if you could combine them effectively someone would have, several centuries back, and maybe there’s a reason it’s not a feature of Mediterranean cuisines.

Thought of the day; real urban slang borrows from social under classes forced into those cities. So D&D thieves cant would probably be full of Hin loanwords (maybe also goblin, dwarf or kobold) which probably furthers the stereotype of halflings as rogues.
