Ultimately one of the sad basic facts of being marginalized is that there will be people from your group allied to folks who hate you, and working hard to make sure you stay second class citizens at best.
You have no idea what these guys stand to get out of it other'n maybe tax cuts and their Republican friends won't call them slurs to their face, but "opposed to you" and "opposed to just letting people be" are the same regardless of ethnicity, gender or orientation.

I'd like to dedicate this to the fucking earth rapist, theocratic bigot war criminal book-banning traitors who held my country for ransom and were willing to negotiate for perks like, oh, making poor people have to jump through more hoops to get food stamps.

oh I love trash!
Anything dirty or dingy or dusty
anything ragged or rotten or rusty
yes I love trash!
oh will you look at this egregious bullshit?
I have here a newspaper 13 months old
I wrap fish inside it it's smelly and cold
but I wouldn't trade it for a big pot of gold!
I love it because it's trash!
colored a couple of #drawings today. An old attempt to be Wayne Reynolds, fire elemental mounted on hellhound and elemental lord. And a more recent ant-gnoll from Pathfinder. Eye contact, macabre imagery.

Old Person story time/2001
Okay, so I may have mentioned this before.
Back when I was a fairly little coyote, there was this show, The Electric Company - it was supposed to be Sesame Street for slightly older kids, fun but educational TV. I have no clue how something so focused on Black people and NYC got air time in rural Georgia public broadcasting but it was a brilliant show.
A LOT of the educational parts were cartoons which taught you about bits of written English - for instance Tom Lehrer contributed songs which got cartoons, about the -ly suffix or silent e. Some cartoons repeated a theme inspired by 2001, which was still pretty recent at that point. There'd be a 2001 style monolith and to the tune of Also Sprach Zarathustra, it'd crumble to reveal a syllable, like OO or AWK, which they'd repeat several times so you'd know how to pronounce it in the future.
So you can imagine how surprised I was when I finally was old enough to watch 2001... and there were monoliths... which didn't crumble at all!
*clicks on image* Okay, it's time for the furry cockworship theme tune again.

Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
