I hate how this EATS spoons. And it always fucking happens because invariably I make mistakes though I’m unsure how much is unclear direction vs my inability to focus on tasks (which might be different from being a stupid inept moron who invariably fucks up)
A D&D thing I think would be interesting; goblins are actually fey creatures in the same way gnomes are, where setting fires, overeating, cruelty, and other stereotypical extravagances are what keep goblins tied to the other world. Hobgoblins and bugbears are stable hybrids of goblins with more mortal orcs or humans, more worldly and stable and less innately magical.
#drawing today. I figured it was the supermoon, so you get more werewolves; the faces yesterday felt like they worked okay so I wanted to push that a little further.
At the end of the movie Zulu (probably hugely problematic; has only a faint resemblance to the battle of Roarke’s Drift; was on tv a lot when I was a kid, I still love it) there’s this blurb about how 11 men in that action won the VC out of 1000+ VC Awards in the prior century (this in 1964ish).
So… averages out to 10+ VC winners annually. Even assuming some years (1914, 1940, etc) are going to be unusually heavy, that’s a LOT of wars Britain’s been in over that time period.
Since the most British media includes charming animals, the pastoral countryside, mysteries and the Blitz/finest hour we can logically conclude the most British show ever would be Watership Down in the 20s/30s but with locked-warren murders, and then RAF bunnies.
And then of course the daleks would show up.
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
