This was a WEIRD art afternoon - really in a mood to work on different body types moving around, though I roughed a big elaborate scene with perspective, too. Just didn't feel like tightening anything up or figuring out costumes.

Okay someone dancing to 80s at Starbucks using a shinai as a prop is a new one on me.

had an accident adding shake cheese (the fancy stuff too) to the leftover stewed roma beans, and consequently I am now having VERY CHEESY stewed beans

Aha! The adjustment layers I'd wanted to use this entire time are on the "layer" pulldown, right in front of my schnoz. Good to know.

Here’s why cooking omasum is such a pain;

* like most organ meats you want some sort of prep, in this case boiling it, before even trying to cook it.
* ideally you want to marinate it for 24 hours
* you want to steam it for 6 minutes. Less and it’s not cooked, more and it’s a tire

This is okay if you’re a restaurant cooking lots of tripe but doesn’t scale down to one scrawny canine.

Dim sum place without my parents means I can eat congee with century egg like a normal person. And steamed omassum with ginger which is a pain to make at home.
