Another day end feeling like there’s really no reason to keep going. Plan is to try napping on the bus and making myself draw later. I wish I were someone good.

The important thing to remember about Bladerunner is that Roy is the closest you get to heroic (and he really isn’t y’know). Deckard is a particularly vicious piece of work and he’s definitely not the hero of the piece. See also “Bladerunner 2049 was a giant disappointment.”

And now being absolutely furious at something rightwing assholes pulled this time. Another “close birdsite immediately” moment. I don’t like feeling angry, though it’s way better than envy.

Finished some work, waiting for more to roll in. The rain’s been alternating between Bladerunner and Shichinin No Samurai levels all morning. I just want to go home, draw and sleep; the emotional stuff has really shut down feeling I can draw at my desk. Trying to remember that self hate is neither compassionate nor efficient.
