death, mh -
I managed to hold up okay dealing with recruiters, bills, fatigue and the ongoing horror that is society and politics right now, but there was a dead kitten by the road on my walk back (there are ferals who live around here) and I just wish things could have been different. I'm really sorry. I'm kind of a mess right now.
Wow, apparently 2018's been a crummy year to be a wiseass, my wiseass output has slowed.
The many domes of the City of Bras and combining two classic 70s pot-boilers are pretty obvious. So is Big Dick Energy in an ergonomic 16 oz can.
Someone on Twitter was enraged about what they called a Sodomy Cake, so here's a quick guide to making a Sodomy Cake with easily available doughnuts. I don't actually think I will offer Your Character as a Ben Garrison Political Cartoon commissions.
@kelseyhusky Question, what color are the huskybots? I was thinking of trying to do vaguely Siberian-styled black or navy blue markings (and much smaller red or yellow safety instructions) over unpainted aluminum (sort of a late war American aircraft look).

spotted in fact on birdsite
Inside Facebook and Twitter’s secret meetings with Trump aides and conservative leaders who say tech is biased https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2018/06/27/inside-facebook-twitters-secret-meetings-with-trump-aides-conservative-leaders-who-say-tech-is-biased/?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.5ca575ff1ad6
Just uh, I'm not overwhelmed by birdsite's left wing bias - especially if they're willing to pull stuff like this.
imho, one of the cleverer things I've ever heard done with a soundtrack is in Bulletproof Monk.
The villain is this Wehrmacht type who shows up in Tibet in the late 1930s, with a minor key march leitmotif -- and when he shows up again as a villain in the late 90s, his henchmen get a much faster, dance remix version of the same leitmotif.
Originally I thought nobody was all that interested in B/W sketches, but I have a lot of them sitting around, I'm probably not going to work all of them up, and I'd rather post them where they might entertain people.
Would you rather see sketch pages
1) consolidated into one or a few big downloadable sketch dumps?
2) uploaded separately, as many as possible all at once?
3) uploaded separately, paced as 1-3 pages or so daily or every few days for a while?
not very spoilery Jurassic World comment, vore
Something I *didn't* expect about Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is that it's LITERALLTY surprisingly bloodless, despite the sheer amount of butchery.
And you know what this means; several parts where big reptiles swallow people whole.
Somehow I wound up in furry fandom without a vore kink, long enough ago to know that 1) this is someone's fap material and 2) in 5-10 years kids who watched Fallen Kingdom will show up in furry and GUESS WHAT?
job hunt -
aaand then the same site MANDATES how many employers have you had in the last 7 years.
Then despite submitting a resume, they required filling out every single job in detail for those.
So I gave up on applying for that one. There are other jobs out there, posted by people who are looking for a prospective employee, not reasons to disqualify applicants.
the world is so fucking infinite. Maybe that's part of why it's so easy to imagine really good fragments of lives I could possibly have and to dismiss the really bland or actively terrible myriad possibilities.
My mind is also trying to spew out a positive spin. First I thought, maybe my favorite artist in 10 years, someone who blows me away completely, is right now cranking along trying to figure out art stuff? Then I thought, what if that's ME for someone ELSE?
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
