(This comes out of feeling 5e has an okay way of getting most characters' AC to resolve around 14-16ish, and leaning into a more believable part/light/unarmored look for adventurers. But it feels clumsy somehow and I'm not sure what I'm missing.)
it's only garbage if it's from the La Garb region of France otherwise it's just sparkling trash

dreams last night
my dreams mixed looking at fantasy art/game splatbooks with this Matrix like scenario such that it was heavily implied that the halfling pantheon were just normal halflings who now existed only as online/in simulation presences. The art was theoretically by Wayne Reynolds and looked very little like his art, instead relying on broad graphic hatching, sometimes he'd actually push it into faux-block prints. The halfling gods' realm was this animation, I guess, of how the shadows in this dramatic cliff face/valley/palace changed throughout the day.
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
