Just… there are Ashkenazic themed TTRPGS. I can’t wrap my head around a game with any of the folklore or world of my ancestors. I can’t imagine Jewish PCs, I’m remembering a conversation years ago where I said I didn’t want to pull on that for fantasy because nobody should ever have to be like me in a fantasy world, it’s like having glasses or PTSD. Idk this stirs up a lot of sediment I wasn’t thinking about.

Graffiti on bus; someone used a big black marker to scribble over a sprawling line of invectives or dicks. Someone else labelled the resulting sorta Japan-like shaped blob “nihon” and labeled all four main islands.

I’ve seen things you people couldn’t imagine. The worst Stuffer Shack in downtown Seattle is on the next block, chummer.

somehow I went from "songs about Halloween" to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in general to "Hey Pachuco" to "Cuban Pete" to "Hey Ricky" because it has the line about her wanting to be in his show, and now I seem to be on early Weird Al tracks

#drawings from this weekend worked on today, three catgirl pinups, a page of fantasy portraits to work larger (and a frost jotun, just because), and a page of furry portraits (mostly canines and felines, but a couple of hyenas and procyonids!).

So the garage closed and locked me out completely. I’m now waiting on the bus home. Younger me would be real sunk in self hate right now and it’s real hard not to go completely off into that right now. Someone please tell me this is the sort of honest mistake people make sometimes and not indicative that I’m complete shit?

So I have 40 minutes to this panel I really want to get to, and the peroshkii place I want to visit is closed, so I duck into a food court and there’s a stand selling zhu jiao fan (sp?). Which I’ve never had so why not?
I order and must’ve nailed the pronunciation because I get this “do you speak Chinese?”
“No, only a few words.”
So it’s only polite to say xia xia, zaijian after I get my breakfast.
I think the world’s telling me to learn Mandarin, again…

Usually I’m not the smartest person in the room. Occasionally though I’m the *dumbest*, which is an interesting experience, especially these days now that I have better self esteem.
