WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO APPLY and I'm this close to listing I like things like having a roof over my head, food in my belly, and not freezing during winter months.

METALLICA: Sad But True is about how existing perceptions and biases are comfortingly familiar, but they're a dead end keeping you unhappy

ME: Sad But True is about jumping across the chasm of astral space onto an opposing astral skiff and scything thru the githyanki with a +3 weapon (+5 vs Cold)

the next step in the whole over the top wealthy nerd thing where they have an entire room for D&D and the entire dungeon laid out in Dwarven Forge tiles is to actually hire Metallica to play live during the game

oh that's RIGHT! I'm listening to Metallica, so as is tradition;

17 13 13 12 13 15

dude. I think Rolladie.net is kinda messed up or something, no way would I ever roll a character with stats this good.

the only reason "Wherever I May Roam" isn't the best song on the black album is there's a werewolf song, and I really wish *that* had been the Metallica that The Hu covered

song lyrics in all caps

raising my shoulders, crinkling my nose and sticking my tongue out a little during "Of Wolf and Man"

I FEEL A CHANGE BACK TO A BETTER DAY
HAIR STANDS ON THE BACK OF MY NECK
IN WILDNESS IS THE PRESERVATION OF THE WORLD
AND A QUESTION HANGS HEAVY IN THE AIR

Jesse got trapped in a coal mine
never did marry his girl
there ain't no air and there ain't no light
and there ain't no way to make it out alive
his weddin' was planned for the fifth of July
- but Jesse got trapped in a coal mine.

I dunno, maybe tonight would be a good time to have a half edible, and sit around naked listening to All Them Witches and The Sword.

vivid dreams all with a little bit of sourness to them

- one of them had a short trip to an Amazon warehouse, one of them my parents were moving and had one of my Dad's old work friends over but she was so loud I didn't want to be around her and I hung out in my room playing a music video about Halloween (started with this cute rolling pumpkin shedding little magic sparkles while rolling around and booping this puppy's nose, and then it went some variety of incredibly dark, and the end of the video was two cute animals nosing each other and rolling around on the floor - this was one of those dreams where I remembered music for a little after I woke up, but I can never remember it long enough to write down). By the time I felt like I could go out to the main area it was mostly vacuumed and everything was boxed up so they could move, and my room was still this disorganized mess I hadn't started on.

Don’t tell funny jokes to Optimus Prime.
They’ll put you on trial for Vehicular Man’s Laughter.

one of the weird things about being my age (and especially because I don't think I feel or look like it) is that occasionally I'll think "fucking Boomer" about an old person and they'll probably be my age.

* Thirteenth Warrior volva voice * Bewaaaare. It'll happen to yoooou.

okay, anyone sufficiently Old Skool D&D fans enough to offer an opinion on what would be cooler opponents for a hot orc barbarian - Dark Creepers or Norkers?

in the middle of the earth in the great land of the Shire
lived a brave little hobbit whom we all of us admire
most people looked at him with terror and with fear
but to Laketown chicks he was such a lovely dear
He's Bilbo Bilbo Baggins
there was a cat who really was down
He's Bilbo Bilbo Baggins
it was a shame how he carried on

*spoken*
Well he fought with the goblins
he battled a troll
he riddled with Gollum
a magic ring he stole!

song lyrics, all caps, tonight's plans

I don't think getting baked is a good idea and I think a bagel would be too much food, but listening to The Sword sounds good.

HONED BY THE HALFLING TO VORPAL SHARPNESS
BEHOLD! THE BASTARD BLADE!
BANE OF THE DEMON LORDS!
SLAYER OF THE SPIDER PRIESTS!
SPILLER OF THE SILVER BLOOD!

because I'm at *that* point of the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack and haven't trotted out this joke in a while.

"Take him to the Tree of Woe."
"Whoa!"
"Crucify him."
"BOGUS!"

now the question becomes whether I want to get baked, listen to The Sword and eat a bagel with vegan cream cheese.

worked on rendering some I flatted out earlier/way earlier. And here's the second!

this part of the "Sleepy Hollow" soundtrack must be the love theme. Either that or it's the part where Pee-Wee Herman finds his bike.

normally I make fun of Danny Elfman for the very Nightmare sounding chunks of his soundtracks, but ironically "Carnival from Hell" winds up being VERY Oingo Boingo.
