when I was a kid in semi rural Georgia, because I kinda pass as white and straight, people would say the awfullest, shittiest things in front of me about Blacks, Gays (remember we had no concept you could be Queer in any other way) and only very rarely Jews. I assume a brave kid would get them to shut the hell up by punching them. I was not that brave and kept my head down, but this is an experience I really REALLY hate.

Okay, I finally lost my shit at one of my allies, I told them they did not understand Jewish identity at all and BLOCKED their rich honky ass.

Zardoz starts off with one hell of a bang, and then it becomes this slog. The cinematic equivalent to starting your roadtrip with the weirdest food you can find in the corner store - a little strange but kinda cool actually - then promptly spending the next 2 hours stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.

Posting this morning’s kinda rough #drawings in case my mood sinks through the floor later and I don’t think of it.

The good news is after drawing some I feel a lot less self loathing, but the bad news is drawing while trying to listen to Goodnight Texas instead of the next table’s conversation has me angry. Them moving on to a religious discussion was my cue to get the fuck out of there and walk some.
