one of my favorite just weird random facts is how Julius Fucik's "Entry of the Gladiators" got associated with clowns. For a while it was a cue to alert circus folks that something had gone wrong without alerting the audience, and in that case the clowns would come out and do their thing for as long as it took to get stuff back under control. (This might not be true but I like the idea.)

Very weird quasi lucid dream in that my brain went "wait I've had this dream before" but consciously I don't think I have. About being near the coast in NZ, both I and a Canadian friend were underdressed for very cold/starting to snow. A school tour bus picked us up before it got dark, thankfully.

At some point I should probably get drunk or stoned and talk about coyote as personal and ethnic metaphor - strong enough to keep the association even if my take on the woo shifts.
