have you ever thought about how Washington and Lincoln compare to Eisenhower or Obama, respectively? Basically agreeable war heroes whose big accomplishment in office is Not Completely Wrecking the Place, and previously unknowns from Illinois who are brilliant speakers and who aren't as great as everyone says, but they manage to pull off one really significant thing in office which had previously been impossible.

To be fair there's a lot of stuff that Obama did wrong, but if you weren't a Republican you had to think about that as opposed to being smashed in the face with how completely bullshit terrible the POTUS was on a daily basis.
