I'm fucked. My efforts to come across as friendly and supportive have been interpreted as 'condescending'. The boss is joking about installing the doom beam in my basement so nobody has to deal with me ever again. When they blow off steam, it's 'funny'. When I blow off steam, it's 'hurtful'. Or 'frightening'.
Most probabilities lead to my termination, probably within the next seven months, if history repeats. And then the meds become unaffordable. And then. And then.

@zx3 Oh, him. The Islamophobic right-winger who grabbed my ass demonstrating how unreasonable women are. Collects guns, shoots animals for fun, left the army because they're too soft. Errupts into tirades about liberals/students/immigrants every few days.
I've pointed out that he loses *his* shit without consequence: the boss' response was "He's too important to what we do to fire. You aren't."
re: Work (-), mental health (--)
@Momentrabbit @zx3 :trash_fire:
..It occurs to me that you may want to tip off the asshole that you 'overheard' the boss describe him as irreplaceable, and that means they can never promote him.
re: Work (-), mental health (--)
@Momentrabbit @zx3 More's the pity.

@Momentrabbit *Hugs softly*
Work (-), mental health (--)
Oh no. That is... aww. I don't know what to say except bosses suck.
Work (-), mental health (--)
@Momentrabbit I really want to boot your boss in the ass right about now. *hug*
Work (-), mental health (--)
@Momentrabbit *hugs* You're in a difficult spot - may I go aggressively problem-solving on it?
Work (-), mental health (--)
@Jssra You're welcome to make suggestions, certainly!

@Momentrabbit I’m sorry. I know that work social paranoia can really wreck you if there’s a bad precedent (and bad precedents are easy to come by). I wish you whatever support can actually help.
