food, personal issues
@acetone_kitten Is there anything I can do? Can I fax you a vegan pizza or something?
food, personal issues
@acetone_kitten *noses you* If you do not take the time to eat and care for yourself, you will become food for something else.
Please. You deserve compassionate care.

@starkatt *giggles* I can neither confirm nor deny that I have used a theoretical lickability quotient in both work and home settings to discuss electrical wiring.
(I totally have, and at least twice in the last three months at that. 💜)
Katt talks about wiring phases
@starkatt You're making this more accessible than many manuals and books I've seen try to demystify matters! Keep going, please. n.n 👍👍
@Austin_Dern When we had gerbils, we referred to their habit of such surprises as "The Gift of Water," what with them being desert creatures and little maud'ibs and very Dune and all. It was an honour! Sign of respect and trust!
(Yeah, we still washed up too.) Still, good signs! n.n
@grainloom IIRC, originally, terminology-wise, we had computers: those were people who did math. Then we had Computers: mostly to throw things at other people with. Once we had multiuser computers, we had dumb terminals: then we had minicomputers, because 'real' computers were so big. Then we had 'real' microcomputers - smart terminals - and 'real' supercomputers. Never had macrocomputers, a missed opportunity there....
drawing, inflatable devil costume, nsfw
@001zlnv And what an accomplishment!
@JulieSqveakaroo In my headcanon, without the spandex, they're spherical. all floof. just fleece. but in the spandex, tadah! Amazing what a little lycra will do for a build. n.n
@porsupah Variety of things. Timing, exhaustion, cognitive deficits, take your pick. I'll be on them again soon enough...
That's be neat! Problem is I move so slowly with projects right now I literally find my hardware going end of life before I've managed to spend enough time to really acquaint myself.
Lots of pain and general discomfort. really can't advise cold-turkeying ssris, bur it does get easier with practice. Every day seems to bring a new horror in terms of the political situation sorth of the border: so far the local Provincial political picture is mostly vexingly inept. Making glacial progress on various projects outside of work, slow trickle of parts ongoing. Tinkering with i2c bus devices on Arduino platforms, pleasantly Just Works mostly.
@kelseyhusky It was fun. I wish you luck with that.
@Austin_Dern It's not fair, it really isn't. I'm sorry. I hope she gets to spend many more happy and healthy years with you all. *hugs*
3d Printer Babbling
Had to break out new filament - that nice pink PLA started globbing and stringing. We had some very humid days - one reason I want to relocate the printer and feedstock to the basement, the ac works much better there. I suspect the pink reel - and anything else currently open to the air - has absorbed moisure and will need baking before being usable again.
But the purple was still vacbagged with dessicant. Attached photo: 3d printed two-side air duct for printer fan.
@anthracite Well, it *does* lag Subway Tooter on Android by two or three seconds, but it doesn't crash.
That said, it's the only thing that's ever even lagged this Masto client, so that's kind of spooky.
@Austin_Dern Upstairs rabbit is fortunate to have a family that is so considerate of her comfort and wellbeing. 💜
@rootsworks Let's face it, nobody *really* wants to see that much vomiting on Star Trek, even if it would be realistic. (Now you've got me thinking of that scene in 2010 where Max opens his helmet and breathes the air on the 'abandoned' Discovery One - then *panics* at the smell until he's reminded it's just the rotting foodstuffs he smells from the ship's galley, that's all.. not... not... *worse*.)
