@forestservice It's curious. I was making some good progress with guitar before starting ADD meds: it was like a switch going 'clunk', lost all interest. Occasionally I wonder if that's biological, or just the sudden ability to even slightly direct my attention was so overwhelming that sheer novelty swamped the musical drive.

Shall have to try again, sometime...

@JulieSqveakaroo Unrelatedly, been walking around with a well-torqued nippleshaftnut in my pocket all day since I removed and replaced the worst ones. I never noticed that CO2 cans are threaded 'innies' while N2 and He are threaded 'outies' before. Nature's majesty on display. Or maybe convergent evolution?

@Phorm I believe this just means your brain recognizes the need for a solid experimental underpinning to your conclusions. We need to log your mood in 'usual' clothes, and then an equivalent amount of time logged in djinna outfits*, and compare for qualitative numbers. Mind you, I think we already know the results, but documentation is *always* essential.

Yesterday's work amusement was discovering we've been using a 'permanent' extension cord to power a monitor, because the old crt that *used* to be there was 120V only and there are no nearby 120V circuits near that station, just 240V.

The 'new' LCD at that station, which has been there for years, autoadjusts from 120-240. All anybody ever had to do was just... plug it in.

(coils up extention cord, muttering)

@Momentrabbit With that said, doing a(nother) complete factory reset with only new drives installed, so the initial filesystem is also factory reset, seems to have allowed it to keep from hanging or misbehaving overnight. I'll see if it hasn't fallen over by the time I get home today.

@ElectricKeet Eh. So now I get to put the project aside for a couple of weeks, assemble a micropc tower, and install FreeNAS on it. Just a minor delay.
